Haris' expertise spans general corporate law, restructuring, investment, capital markets, M&A, project finance, infrastructure, PPP, and oil and gas, with a strong focus on energy, banking, and finance regulations. He was recognized as a leading individual in Corporate and M&A by Asia Pacific Legal 500 (2001–2014) and named a leading lawyer in Project Finance by IFLR 1000 in 2014, attaining a highly regarded status in the same field in 2017.Haris served as Chairman of the Indonesian Capital Market Legal Counsels Association (HKHPM) from 2018 to 2021 and as an Honorary Board Member of HKHPM from 2021 to 2024. In 2024, he continued as an Honorary Board Member of the Association of Legal Consultants for the Financial Sector (HKHSK). He is also Vice Chairman of the Supervisory Board at the Foundation for Legal Policy Studies and a business law lecturer at the Indonesian Jentera School of Law. Additionally, Haris was appointed to the Corporate Evaluation Committee of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2021 to 2023 and elected as a member of the Exchange Members Disciplinary Committee at IDX in 2024. He has been recognized as one of The A List Indonesia Top 100 Lawyers (2020–2024) by Asia Business Law Journal and as a Distinguished Practitioner in Capital Markets in the 2023/2024 edition of Asialaw.
