Minister of Transportation has issued the Minister of Transportation Regulation Number 7 of 2024 on the Harmonization of Inspection and Certification Systems for Indonesian-Flagged Vessels, aiming to streamline the inspection and certification processes for Indonesian-flagged vessels. This regulation is a significant step towards enhancing maritime safety and ensuring uniformity in ship certification services. Starting 21 September 2024, all Indonesian-flagged vessels will undergo standardized inspection schedules and certification validity periods, tailored to the type and size of each ship.
